Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at West Main Baptist Church for Sherry Tulk of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Tulk, 78, died January 26, 2019 in Artesia, NM.

Nolan Frederick will officiate at the services. Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Tulk, Erik Tulk, Derek Chase, Scott Bannister, Wes Bannister, and Wilson Bannister. Honorary pallbearers will be John A. Yates Sr., and Mack Chase.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 30 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Sherry was born November 8, 1940 in Roswell, NM to Louis Boggs and Jessie Cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Jerry Boggs, and a sister Wanda Price.

Survivors include her husband J.C. Tulk of the family home; a son Hoby Tulk of Artesia; a daughter Karla Chase and husband Richard of Artesia; sister Charlotte Gay Yates and husband John A. of Artesia; sister-in-law Bonnie Glenn of Artesia; grandchildren Eric Tulk, Cody Tulk and wife Kaitlan, Kortney Chase-Moreno and husband RT, and Derek Chase; great-grandchildren Aubrey, Taylor, Ella, Lucas, & Lane Tulk; numerous nieces and nephews including Scott Bannister and wife Teri and their children, and many close friends.

Sherry (Gram) will forever be remembered as a woman who dedicated her life to her family and her charitable acts. Sherry will forever be missed by the many whose lives she touched.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Christian Hospice.
