Anita Delgado

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, at Trinity Temple Assembly for Anita Perez Delgado of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Delgado, 61, died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at U.N.M. Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Pete Perez will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billie Delgado, Kevin Delgado, Daniel Boone, Chris Perez, Nick Grado, and PetePerez, Jr.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Anita was born September 19, 1952 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Santiago Perez and Juanita Hernandez Perez. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

On January 4, 1975 she was married to Joe Delgado in Artesia.

Anita was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Lupe Grado.

Survivors include her husband Joe Delgado of the family home son Gabriel Delgado and wife Trish of Artesia sister Sofia Saiz and husband Roy of Artesia brothers Esa Perez and wife Edna of Modesto, California, Tony Perez and Patsy Gonzalez of Artesia, Pete Perez and wife Virginia of Artesia, and Urbano Perez and wife Aurora of Hobbs, N.M. grandchildren Khloe and Zechariah Delgado of Artesia.
