Alonzo Orosco

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 25, at Terpening Son Chapel for Alonzo Orosco of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Orosco, 64, died Thursday, September 18, 2014.

Michael Elliott will officiate at the services.

Alonzo was born October 19, 1949 in Lake Arthur, New Mexico the son of Albert Orosco and Valda Lyles Orosco. He was a lifelong Artesia area resident.

He was a painter and loved the mountains and his best friend Bubba his blue heeler.

Alonzo was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Lisa Lyles..

Survivors include his daughters Vanessa Fisher and husband Luther of Las Cruces, N.M., and Candice Barrera and husband Ray of Artesia son Andrew Orosco and wife Lisa of Santa Fe, N.M. sister Sylvia Fuentes and husband Juan of Artesia brothers Gilbert Orosco of Artesia, Rudy Orosco and wife Barbara of Houston, TX, and Richard Orosco and wife Judy of Artesia grandchildren Kameron, Allix, Noah, Nathan, Jake, Analise, and Breeana and his greatgrandsons Greggry and Zackry.
