Alondra Lizet Gamboa-Cazares

Services are scheduled for 10 am Monday, August 23, at Faith Baptist Church for Alondra Lizet Gamboa-Cazares of Artesia, New Mexico. A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 22, from 2pm to 6pm at Faith Baptist Church.

Alondra, 25, died on August 14, 2021.

Michael Duff will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Gamboa, Juan Arturo Cazares, Rodrigo Ivan Cazares, Jose Eduardo Cazares, Carlos Ornelas, Ramon Ponce

Alondra, loving daughter, granddaughter, aunt, and best friend was born on July 4, 1996 in Carlsbad, New Mexico; the daughter of Amy Gamboa and Juan Cazares.  She was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

She was a floral designer for Love Bud Floral. She was a caring, loving person, who always put the needs of others before her own. She was a ray of sunshine anywhere she went. Alondra loved everybody and there was never a dull moment when she was around.

She is survived by her mother Amy Gamboa; her father Juan Cazares; grandmother Amelia Gamboa; grandfather Eustacio and Patricia Gamboa; great-grandmother Maria Mendoza; brothers Juan Arturo Cazares, Rodrigo Ivan Cazares, and Jose Eduardo Cazares; a sister Camela Lizet Cazares; an uncle John Gamboa; an aunt Selena Perez; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Alondra's family would like to thank friends, family, the whole community, and everyone who has organized and contributed to fundraisers for funeral expenses.

We will miss you deeply every day that goes by but most of all we want you to know how much you are loved. For nothing that is loved is truly lost.

We are at peace knowing that you are singing and dancing in Heaven now
