Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 5, at Woodbine Cemetery for Alma B. Ingram of Artesia. Mrs. Ingram, 90, died Friday, April 1, 2005 at her home. Rev. Paul Dean Duerksen will officiate at the services. Visitation is scheduled for Monday at Terpening Son Mortuary starting at 10:00 A.M. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Needham, Bill Gray, Bob Mayberry, Bill Johnson, Bill Case, and Johnny Crook. Mrs. Ingram was born April 25, 1914 in Dexter, New Mexico; the daughter of Clarence Mark Pearson and Esther Nelson Pearson. On March 19, 1934 she was married to Roy E. Ingram in Roswell, New Mexico. They celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary this year with family. A lifelong Artesia residnet, Mrs. Ingram was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, and was a former member of United Methodist Women. Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her parents; her infant daughter Alma B. Ingram; her sister Mae Pearson; her brother Melvin Pearson; her son-in-law Richard Young; and her grand-daughter Britta Young. Survivors include her husband Roy E. Ingram of the family home; daughters Kay Whitefield and husband Doug of Odessa, Texas, Sue Alderman and husband Bill of Fairview, Texas, and Betty Tennant and husband Sammy of Venice, Florida; grandchildren Mike Whitefield and wife Glenda of Lubbock, Texas, Suzette Furst and husband Matthew of Odessa, Suanne Bonnet and husband Richard of Houston, Texas, Wayne Young and wife Sharyn of Frisco, Texas, and Ryan Young of Austin, Texas; great-grandchildren Shanna Ross and husband Cody of Lubbock, Jeremy Whitefield of Lubbock, Maggie, Emily, and Abigail Furst all of Odessa, Rachel and Stephanie Young of Frisco. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1330 San Pedro N.E. 205, Albuquerque, N.M. 87710.
