Alleen Hubble

Graveside services are scheduled at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 3, at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia, N.M. for Alleen Hubble of Loco Hills, New Mexico. Mrs. Hubble, 83, died Monday, December 1, 2003 in Artesia. Rev. Pinson McWhorter will officiate at the services. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Hubble, Jerrell Hubble, James Herrera, Steve Cochran, Joe Ben Rainbolt, and Joseph Hubble. Mrs. Hubble was born May 7, 1920 in Boswell, Oklahoma; the daughter of A. A. Rainbolt and Mary Magdalene Furr Rainbolt. On May 8, 1937 she was married to Jerrell Raymond Hubble in Sherman, Texas. They came to Artesia in 1947 from Madill, Oklahoma and moved to Loco Hills in 1962. Her husband preceded her in death May 3, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents; by a son Luther Hubble; and by two brothers and one sister. She was a bookkeeper and member of the Baptist denomination. Survivors include grandchildren Emma Reyes of Aztec, N.M., Jerrell Hubble of Rio Rancho, N.M., Tonya Herrera of Alamogordo, N.M., and Ray Hubble of Los Lunas, N.M.; 11 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a nephew Joe Rainbolt and wife Marcela of Durant, Okla.; and a niece June Cochran and husband Carroll of Artesia.
