She graduated from Hot Springs High School in Truth or Consequences, NM, where she was raised. As a Hot Springs Tiger she played volleyball, managed boys' basketball, and was active in FFA. While growing up in T or C she loved to help with the family ranch and spend time in the mountains in Winston, NM as a child.

After earning her cosmetology degree, Alex worked at the Hairport in Truth or Consequences before relocating to Artesia, where she worked at Simply Bare Salon. She was passionate about her work and loved making others feel beautiful.

An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Alex’s love for the team was only matched by her deep faith in the Lord. She was a dedicated member of Caballo Church of T or C then went on to be a member of Catalyst Church in Artesia. She joyfully served as a Bible school teacher at Catalyst. Her faith was central to her life, and she was committed to spreading the word of God.

Alex enjoyed dancing, singing, listening to music and playing darts, often surrounded by her many friends and family. Her beloved dog, Oreo, was always by her side. With a contagious smile that could light up any room, Alex was the life of the party, a true joy to be around, and someone who made everyone feel welcome and loved. She never let you go without saying she loved you.

Alex touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. Her presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone whose lives she brightened.

A celebration of Alex's life will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Artesia on October 1 at 6pm. A Celebration of life will be held October 19,11:00 am, at Hot Springs High School Gym in Truth or Consequences, NM.
