Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, September 23 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Alberto A. Morales, Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Morales, 66, died Monday, September 20, 2004 in Artesia. Father Richard Lifrak, SS. CC., will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edwardo Rubio, Sr., Edward Rubio, Jr., Jose Cruz Porras, Michael Porras, David Anaya, and Raul Anaya. Honorary pallbearers will be Billie Delgado, Chris Delgado, and Alvin Denetso. A rosary service is also planned for 6:30 P.M. Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace. Visitation at Terpening Son Mortuary will begin at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday. Mr. Morales was born July 12, 1938 in Ojinaga, Mexico; the son of Jesus Salinas and Lorenza Anaya Salinas. He came to Artesia from Ojinaga in 1955. On April 30, 1959 he was married to Jesusita Ponce in Carlsbad, N.M. He was a farm laborer and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church; Es Spirito; and the Santo Choir. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Alfredo Morales; a brother Cielo Salinas and by a sister Maria Arivas. Survivors include his wife Jesusita Morales of Artesia; a son Robert Morales of Artesia; a daughter Susie Delgado and husband Alvin Denetso of Artesia; brothers Lorenzo Salinas of Pecos, Texas, and Javier Salinas, Arturo Salinas, Manuel Salinas, Antonio Salinas, and Felipe Salinas all of Artesia; sisters Martha Salazar of Artesia, Maria Rubio of Lake Arthur, N.M., Margarita Porras of Lake Arthur, Guadalupe Romo of Artesia, Manuela Mesquita of Lake Arthur, and Angelica Franco of Jal, N.M.; and five grandchildren
