Albert Sanchez

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at St. Anthonys Catholic for Albert M. Sanchez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Sanchez, 81, died Friday, November 4, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Fr. Brian Guirrini SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his family members.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. A rosary will be at St. Anthonys Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Albert was born April 12, 1930 at San Patricia in Lincoln County, N.M. the son of Frank Sanchez and Carolina Miranda Sanchez. He came to Artesia in 1950 from Roswell, N.M.

Albert workes as a custodian and was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents sisters Lola Salsberry, Nina Chavez, and Rosa Archuleta and brothers Harry Sanchez, Charlie Sanchez, and Domingo Sanchez.

Survivors include his sons Robert Sanchez of Victorville, California, and Richard Sanchez of Tuscon, Arizona brothers Ruben Sanchez of Tuscon, and Bonifacio Sanchez of Las Vegas, Nevada sister Dora Almanza of Artesia 2 grandchildren 2 greatgranddaughters 8 nephews and 8 nieces.
