Agustin Corona

Services for Agustin S. Corona are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday December 28, 2020 at Trinity Temple Assembly of God.

Pastor Alex Hernandez will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery.

Agustin, Papi as he was fondly known, was born on September 16, 1928 in El Paso, Texas; the son of Agustin Corona, Sr. and Alvina (Sosa) Corona. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia, NM.

On July 16, 1960 he married Susie Juarez in Artesia. She preceded him in death on July 23, 2007.

Agustin was loved by everyone that met him and was known for his strong work ethic and love for his family. Before retiring, he spent his life working in the construction industry as a carpenter. He passed his love for construction onto his children.

Agustin was also preceded in death by his parents, sons Augustine J. Corona and Enrique J. Corona and his sisters Vera Gonzales and Catalina Juarez.

Survivors include his daughter Rachel Corona, of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren Cloud Corona, Gabriella Sanchez and husband Isaac, Micah Corona and Zechariah Corona, daughter in law Yvette Small and husband Scott and sister Marisela Garcia Corona, great grandchildren Maddy, Judah and Zion Sanchez and several loving nieces and nephews.
