Adolfo Ortega Jr.

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Adolfo Duran BBs Ortega, Jr., 212 W. Hermosa Drive, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Ortega, 42, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Artesia General Hospital.

Fr. Paul Murtagh SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Ortega Jr., Arthur Ortega, Miguel L. Duran Jr., Ernest Duran, Frank Sierra Joe Vega, Josh Palma and Danny Gallegos.

A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Ortega was born December 19, 1968 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Adolfo Ortega Sr. and Lupe Duran Ortega.

He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, loved music, enjoyed camping with his father and cousins, family gatherings and walking.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Barnabe and Maria Ortega, and Juan and Concepcion Duran.

Survivors include his parents Adolfo and Lupe Ortega of Artesia sister Ramona Vega and husband Joe of Artesia nephews Xavier and Alexander Vega.
