Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29 at Woodbine Cemetery for Aaron Scott George of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. George, 43, died Thursday, October 24, 2019 at his home.

David Grousnick will officiate at the services.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Chapel Monday beginning at 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Aaron was born March 26, 1976 in Artesia, the son of Steve George and Patricia (Hignight) George. He was a lifelong Artesia resident.

Aaron had many interests but his favorite was watching football and tracking the weather. His love along with his family was his dog NumNum.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; aunts Phyllis Kafton and Vicki Hash; and uncle Lester C. George, Jr.

Aaron is survived by his mother Patricia George of Artesia; father Steve George and wife Shelley of Artesia; brother Chris Bannister of Torrington, Wyoming; step-brother Rodney Campbell and wife Holly of Carlsbad, N.M.; step-sisters Julie Reneau and husband Tom of Midland, Texas, Raina Wesson of Lubbock, Texas, and Hannah Wesson of Artesia; and numerous aunts including Shirley Kay Ring and fiance Rickey of Artesia.
